- The
Cannon School of Irish Dance was started
in 1982 under the instruction of National Step Dancing Champion, Peggy
Cannon-O'Donnell. Classes are available for
children ages 3 and older, teens and
adults.
Lessons are held on a weekly basis
throughout the year and dancers have
the opportunity to perform for various
groups, events and festivals. Opportunities
are also available for those who wish
to participate in Irish Dance Competitions.
The goal of the school is to promote
the continuance of Irish Culture and
Heritage and to provide enjoyment
to those who dance and those who watch.
